Therefore, we utilize an increasing sliding scale of payment based upon the amount of weight and the nature of the material in order to be fair to all our customers. Example: A lightweight broken 14K chain necklace will yield less of a percentage than a heavy 18K bracelet. This system is used because the same processing for each must be accomplished. The contents for each and every shipment must be received, entered into our computer system, analyzed for content and then a check must be issued. Usually, our clients are content with their checks. The few who are not are welcomed to return our check and we will return their property.
